SeaWorld Orlando and Southwest Airlines Kick Off Summer At Long Island MacArthur Airport
Kookaburra, Kinkajou and Tawny Frogmouth Greet Travelers Bound for Florida
To kick off the summer and help Long Island-area residents get excited about their summer travel plans, SeaWorld and Southwest Airlines hosted a “welcome to summer” event at Long Island MacArthur Airport. Exotic animals from SeaWorld and Busch Gardens and their trainers were on hand to meet and greet travelers as they wait at gates to board their Southwest flights to sunny Orlando. Travelers delighted in petting, and photographing three creatures seldom seen on Long Island: the Laughing Kookaburra bird, Kinkajou and Tawny Frogmouth.
